Edit: Since posting this, people known to me lost their son. Though he was a soldier, he was not killed in action, but by a drunken thug whilst on leave. He still risked his life for this country, so on this day I still think of the family that lost their hero.
November 11th, and Remembrance Sunday are not too far away and it is the day we celebrate the end of the First World War. Poppies are the traditional flower, we usually wear false ones around this time of year.
This section of bridge came from the Burma railway, put together by British POW (Bridge on the River Kwai was inspired by this). Although this was WW2, I still think its a beautiful reminder of the men who fought in war.

I went to the N.M.A. with the Royal British legion last year. It is an amazing place.
