I originally had far grander plans for this picture. In "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Jack is introduced to the viewer as a Scarecrow upon a straw horse with a Pumpkin Head. I had both the horse AND the scarecrow but I simply could not make them look right hence I narrowed down to a change in head and the Halloween Town sign. Even managed to squeeze in two of my own stocks.
We don't celebrate Halloween here in England on quite the same scale as the U.S, but I always try to watch this film between 31st October and 24th December. This animation sums me up perfectly you see, little odd, likes the spooky, wants to take over Christmas
Everyone hail to the Pumpkin King! Really love this. Although i abused my VHS tape of this so badly around Christmas time when i was younger, that now i guess it's more of a Christmas film for me
Lucky! It snowed briefly here (I live in England too) earlier but didn't settle at all. We've been getting way too many sleet showers and not enough snow for my liking... I'm sorry!I'm such a typical Brit.Spamming somebodies comments complaining about the weather
The USA does everything on a scale we don't. Sadly Halloween has just become a night that kids cause mayhem (last lot of trick or treaters we answered the door to hadn't even dressed up, they just wanted sweets/money) so very few people decorate houses at all and shops don't stock a great deal of Halloween themed items (unless its for young children). Don't even seem to show horror films on the television.
It's a sad state of affairs. Plus on the 5th November we have Bonfire Night are people set themselves up for that instead.

Unless you live in England and then you usually just get a light smattering in January...
